Yup, another photo from the POVA/ultra fashion show yesterday, and yes, I shot it straight into the lights– but they’re not all that way. Just happens to be my current fav style of photographing shows. This one could use a bit of lens flare touching up, and I’m happy to do that for any prints ordered from my photography website

This has nothing to do with anything, and it’s not even a very good photo– but if you get a chance to ride the tram from Portland’s south waterfront to OHSU, it’s well worth the trip. The views are great and the technology amazing. Well worth the $4 ticket, if you ask me.

ginch gonch boys

Event photos from the Ginch Gonch Boys visit to Portland, Oregon now available on my website. Photos from both the Basic Rights Oregon fundraiser and the underwear fashion show at Pride available.

Sorry folks, I know the watermarks are UGLY but these Ginch Gonch galleries are literally getting thousands of hits from around the world. And I’ve noticed a couple of the images getting swiped and used elsewhere without permission. Sure wish I could give these away for free, but of course my photography equipment, website, and all that isn’t free! The good news is if you purchase a print or digital download from my website, there won’t be a watermark on it. And my prices are quite reasonable– basically just trying to cover my expenses at this point.

ultrapdx portland photo clip

I contribute photos frequently to ultrapdx, a very cool Portland-based website that covers the Portland fashion scene. Mostly, I shoot fashion shows for them, but I’ve had an editorial fashion shoot featured too. And I’ve been working on a series of portraits of Portland fashion designers for them as well that may run soon.

Anyway, here are a couple of my pics that appeared on ultra this week– some photos for a local boutique called greenloop that I help out with photos from time to time.
